Owners Steve and Stephanie Paulson opened Open Oven in 2019 but have called Black Mountain home for over 20 years. When they aren't spending time with their two daughters, you can catch them baking bread and serving coffee alongside the team.

Almost everything that comes from our kitchen and bakery is made from scratch. Whenever possible, we try to source whole and simple ingredients without additives. In addition, we offer gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options for an inclusive dining experience. 

Open Oven remains a small, casual, and intimate dining experience where customers get to know the crew and come back for the food as well as the friendly faces!

 We serve breakfast, brunch, and lunch from 8 am-2 pm

Wednesday through Monday.
